Drama. That is one way to describe what most people think of high school. There are a lot of things in the world that influence the opinion on all high school students, for example movies have a huge impact on that. Mean Girls, High School Musical, Bring it on, all  have a big impact on kids going into high school. These movies change the reality of actual High School.

 We asked many freshman what they thought of how these movies impacted them, and many of them said that coming into high school was somewhat scary and nerve racking – but also exciting to experience so many new things. Many of the people that we asked had older siblings who told them “High school is the best time of your life” why don’t the movies make it seem like that? Movies now a days make High School seem like its the best time of their lives only for a certain group of people.

 High school can be amazing for anyone who makes it like that. Yes there are bullies and people who hate it, just like the movies say. But if directors eliminated all the shame and bullying from movies so many more people would be looking forward to the “time of their life”. Instead they influence groups and mean clicks.
