Music

Both Android and apple have a generic music app. They differ in many ways such as how you get it onto the phone, to different features, and by music output. Apple has a program called Itunes that you buy and download music to your computer and then transfer it to the phone. Androids deal with just the files and you copy and paste it to your phone. They are very similar it depends on what you prefer because itunes can sync with other devices but android is simpler. Apple has a much better way of viewing the files the android music app can be flawed. Android has some other feature such as you can sneak your music from the lock screen and the audio now uses less power. Apple has something called Airdrop that allows you to share music android has similar stuff. Apple also allows you to share to your TV similar to android’s screen monitoring.

Base Apps

Apple has a new way of messaging. Apple now allows you to send short voice messages as text messages. Android has something really cool called a infrared blasting that allows your phone to be a remote with a app called Watch On. They both have similar way of paying. Apple has apple wallet and Androids have Google Wallet. The Health apps are again similar. All of the apps are very similar and mostly the same minus a few differencesandroid-kitkat-google-surprise-chocolate-key-lime-pie-370x229

Extra Features

Androids have much more customization. They allow you to have different homes screens and allow you to switch much quicker. They both have similar safty settings that allow you to wipe your phone remotely to insure your safety. Android now has added closed captioning on their devices. Apple has Siri which is allows you to talk to your phone. They both have similar map programs google has been more reliable. Facetime is on apple as a base app you can download something similar on androids but they do not have one that comes with the IOS. Apple has two other interesting features that allow you to have a better connection and display in your car. The most controversial app i have found is that apple uses icloud to store your passwords and logins and that seems like if someone were to hack there would be allot of issues with people losing security.
