Wyatt Klute Blaine Lacrosse Day

Wyatt Klute Blaine Lacrosse Day

Marissa Eggerichs and Kate Wehr

Wyatt Klute is a 13 year old 8th grader from Northdale Middle School who has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma.  Ewing’s Sarcoma accounts for only one percent of childhood cancers.  Wyatt plays hockey and lacrosse for Blaine youth associations.  Unfortunately, medical bills and expenses are outrageous.  The Blaine girls and boys lacrosse programs are organizing an event to help out Wyatt and his family.  This event will take place this Saturday, May 3rd.

The girls junior varsity will kick off the event with their home game against Hill Murray beginning at 11:30.  Then, the girls varsity team will also take on Hill Murray at 1:00 at Bengal Stadium.  The boys junior varsity will take on Lakeville North following the girls jv on the BHS back field.  The boys varsity team will take on Lakeville North at 3:00 following the girls varsity game.

The benefit will consist of a silent auction, raffle, t-shirt and wristband sales, games, concessions, and more.  Chuck-a-ball will take place at halftime of both varsity games.  All proceeds will go directly to the Klute Family.  Donations of any denomination are welcome.  Come join us to watch some good lax and support a good cause this Saturday!
