How to Not be Tired During the Day

A morning routine is the most important part of the day for anyone. You might say that you already have a good one but are you tired during the day? Do you just not want to do anything sometimes in the day? If so, this article is for you. The right morning routine can set your mood for the rest of the day, so that makes it the most important part of your day.
The First step to get a good morning routine is to wake up and avoid the snooze button if possible. “That grogginess and disorientation that we experience upon the first few moments of waking is called sleep inertia. Hitting the snooze button repeatedly disorients your body, raising the chances of this sleep inertia extending two to four hours into your morning,” says Reverie (website). Something that can make this easier is by getting a good night’s sleep. That means having more than at least 8 hours of sleep. Also, something that might help you would be having a regular sleep schedule.
The second step would probably be an exercise of some kind. A stretch is also very helpful to wake up too. There are many things that you can do with this step. Some are yoga, meditation, running, weight lifting, and just plain old push-ups. This can help your mental health and can improve your productivity throughout the day. It’s also very good because you can get your blood pumping too.
Third of all, you should eat a full breakfast. This gets your body pumping and your engines going. Hence why breakfast is the most important part of your day. A nutritious breakfast is important, eggs are a good choice. However, some things you shouldn’t eat are smoothies, cream cheese bagels, sugary cereals, and white toast. These foods won’t help you wake up and get energized for the day.
Looking at your phone right when you wake up can make you feel very unmotivated, that’s why it’s really important not to do so. Even though it is very tempting you should resist the urge. Seeing something that is negative first thing in the morning means there is a possibility that you will be on edge for the rest of the day because it triggers a stress response.
Lastly, it is important to do something in the morning that you enjoy. These things can make a big difference in your life. Following even one of these steps can make you feel a lot better in the morning.
