Shilvi Joshi, outstanding speech team member and all around academic achiever, is one of many exceptional students in our school. She partakes in, and performs exceptionally, in National Forensics League Speech Competitions. She almost always places in the top 5, has placed first at sections, and almost made finals at the state level.
Joshi joined speech because “[she] was really bad at speaking, [and she] wanted to be able to convey something more clearly than just saying you’re wrong about certain things… it opened a whole other world.” In addition to doing well in speech, she manages her time to permit 2 practices each week, and as many CIS, AP, and Honors classes as possible while keeping all A’s and A-‘s, in addition to many activities such as debate, CEMS, CEMS Student Advisory Board, PWAP, NHS, and Career Exploration.
Joshi truly is a stand out student worthy of notice,
