Blaine vs. Lakeville North

 

On Thursday, November 1st, 2012 at 8 am, the Blaine girls soccer team played Lakeville North in the Metrodome for a third place title. The final score was 6-2, with Lakeville taking the top title.

Lakeville came out in the first half scoring two goals. Simone Kolander(12) scored her first goal for the game at 11 minutes and one second. Then, Alexa Trakalo(12) scored her first goal for the game at a time of 16 minutes four seconds.

To start out the second half, the Blaine girls came back. Kirsten Olsen(11) scored at a time of 46 minutes 19 seconds with an assist from Abbey Wohlers(10). This was Olsen’s first goal for the entire season.

Lakeville answered Blaine with scoring three more goals right away. Hannah Cade scored a goal at one hour, three minutes, and four seconds with an assist from Alexa Trakalo. Next, Trakalo scored her second goal for the game at a time of one hour, 7 minutes, and 0 seconds.

Then, Simone Kolander scored her second goal of the game at one hour, 14 minutes , and five seconds.

Seven minutes and five seconds later, Blaine’s Taylor Greathouse(12) scored her second goal of the season.

Scoring the final goal of the game, Lakeville’s Gelsomina Cavalli-Singer scored her fifth goal of the season with an assist from Trakalo.
