Q: What makes adapted soccer different from regular soccer?
A: “We play in a gym. The game is safer. We play with 2 goalies. Someone in a wheelchair is in front of goalie. There is no center. There are still 2 Wings and 2 Defensemen.”

A: “Wing”
Q: What is involved at your position?
A: “The Wing is supposed to get downfield when there team is on offense. When there team is on defense, their job is to cover an open offensive player.”

A: “2-1-1, we play a total of 8 regular season games.”
Q: How often do you play?
A: “We have a practice or game on Mondays and Wednesdays.”

A: “On most days, we start at 4:30p.m. The games usually last about an hour.”

A: “We play at the Andover YMCA. We play in the gym.”

A: “Our next game is Wednesday Oct 24th at Mounds View High School. We will be playing the game at Highview Middle School.”

A: “It gives me a sense of being on a team and just playing competitively.”
