We asked Blaine High School students what they would do if they had a full ride to any school they wanted. Two people from every grade responded and here are their replies.

Freshmen Aliasing as AA responded saying he would like to go to a college studying under global medicine. Where he would like to study he couldn’t decide, but he would like to be out of state. Freshmen student RU agrees with this saying she would also use her full ride to go into medicine, although she would remain in state. She is unaware of any institution that would help her dream yet but is learning as she goes.

Sophmore student interviewees were CB and EA and their responses were such; CB responded that her dream was to go to a college in Germany, she is already studying German to make a possible journey there easier, she wishes to be an engineer there. For what she wants to study she still doesn’t know. EA said he wants to go to college in New York to be a film maker and that doing so would be remarkably easier if he was to have a full ride to any college.

Juniors had pretty much the same response. SL and BK both said that they would go to Harvard with a full ride to go into law. Their reasons were that no matter what, a Harvard diploma would help you tremendously in life and would give you respect from everybody else around you. Even if they could not keep up, simply attending Harvard would be good enough to get into another school.

Seniors, the high school elites, and the hardest to interview, miraculously, also responded to this question. Senior KJ responded by saying that he would go to the University of Minnesota to study business. KJs dream is to become a businessman, and he wants to start his own business in the future.

The polar opposite AB says that she would like to go to Saint Cloud State University with the full ride and study criminal justice to become a famous law enforcement officer. If that didn’t work out she would transfer over to the art industry.

These are the replies of Blaine students from every grade, all of them unique in their own right. The future is scary but with a dream and a solid plan anything is possible. Good luck Blaine.
