Meeting the parents of your significant other can be extremely awkward.  Use these tips to be calm, confident, and make a great first impression.

  • Brag about how you pleaded down to a misdemeanor
  • Recite long passages of Fifty Shades of Grey from memory to demonstrate your knowledge of literature
  • Ask them for money
  • Refer to both parents as “bro”
  • Ask them where they keep their ashtray
  • Clog the toilet
  • Criticize the food
  • Explain why you were justified in dropping out of high school
  • Ask them if they serve breakfast or if you’re just on your own
  • Tell them that your job is a SoundCloud rapper
  • Ask them detailed questions about their home security system
  • Start by saying, “Well, I’m new to this, so I’m pretty much going to wing it.”
  • Punt their cat
  • Like Yoda you should speak
  • Bring them an ugly cactus
  • Ask them for their blessing
  • Answer all of their questions with sarcasm
  • Ask them if they can buy you prescription drugs
  • Answer your phone at dinner
  • Confidently correct they’re grammar wrong!
  • Tell them that your parents were anti-vaxxers
