Need a better music app?
February 25, 2016
I was using Music D/L, an app for music. But Apple decided to delete the free music app, now I’m without beautiful music to drown out my troubles. Why did they do this? iTunes (now called Music) started to expand and become better. What does that have to do with anything? Because money runs the world and iTunes (Music) revenue made $4.55 billion in 2014. It’s reported to to increase by 10.6% each year. $9.99 per month for someone with a job doesn’t seem that expensive, but for someone who is too busy with academics and outside activities… Well I can’t even afford a burger right now, let alone pay for Apple Music.
What am I going to do? I could…
A.) Fight with Youtube, trying to find the right music for the mood I’m in and struggle to find different music.
B.) Try to scrounge up the money for Apple Music.
C.) Say “Well sucks for you people who have to listen to my dreadful singing with nothing to help drown it out.”
D.) Use Google Play Music, a free music app.
Well I can’t get work done and find good music on Youtube. If money grew on trees, we wouldn’t be having this “conversation” and I don’t need my mother trying to do a duet with me. My ears still hurt from the last time that happened (One of the reasons I set out to find a music app, also happened to get her singing skills.) Google Play Music is free and plays music from what option I chose. May it be by decade, mood, genres, or activities. I can’t help but laugh when I see “Getting Lucky”, “Quitting your Job”, “Game of Thrones.”, or “Girl hold my earrings” in the activities choices. You may not be able to make a playlist but you can favorite a song or playstation for later to listen too. Don’t like the song? Just touch the thumbs down button and it’ll stop playing the song. Love it? Tap the thumbs up button and it’ll play it more frequently. Getting sick of that genre? No problem, click “Concierge” then “Brand New Music”. Aw crap, what playlist was I listening too? Was it under moods or activities? Search it up or go to recents. If you got any questions about it, leave a comment and I’ll answer it as soon as I can.
