“Being the president of student council requires hard work and dedication of time and effort. Hunter, who is the current president of student council, is a great president who is leading student council members in the right direction. He dedicates his time and takes the role of a leader to make everything successful.” Says sophomore student council member Hana Tadesse.
Hunter Throndsen is this year’s Student Council president. He is “excited and honored to be the president this year,” and hopes that he can represent our student body well.
Some of Student Council’s goals are to “introduce new activities and events for the student body.” says Hunter, “We hope to change the volleyball tournament into a dodgeball tournament and to raise money during the Sno Daze week, some of which will be from us.” The Student Council is also hoping to focus on some problems within our school and district that will help make Blaine High School better all around. Student Council is always open to ideas, so if you think of something that would make our school better feel free to contact a Student Council member.
