A typical day for sophomore Amnisty CasaDeCalvo is waking up at 6 in the morning to get ready for school.

For breakfast, before her mom or dad brings her to school, she usually eats a waffle.

Her first hour is health.

Second hour she has AVID which is her getting ready for college honors english class. “My favorite class is Avid because it’s like a little family and we’re all really close and it pushes me to do better and get really good grades and get ready for college” Amnisty said.

Her third hour is history, “that’s my worst and least favorite class, it’s really difficult for me.”

Fourth hour she has math, and halfway in between the class she eats B lunch with her friends. She usually gets peanut butter and jelly, and a cookie.

“My annoying hour is 5th hour, Chemistry. It’s not fun and my teacher doesn’t teach things in a fun way so it’s difficult to learn.” says Amnisty.

School ends at 2:20, and shortly after, she goes home and takes a nap.

Amnisty usually eats pizza for dinner at 6pm. Most days she has dance at NFDC (Northern Force Dance Company) and doesn’t get home until 10pm.

When she doesn’t have dance she hangs out with her friend Amanda Schingten, Jordan and Lorenzo Brooks and sometimes they go skating.
