The month of October is dedicated to the Electronic genre. We celebrate Avicii and honor David Guetta. Both tracks are new this month, and I have a feeling you will be hearing them sometime in the next few months, whether it’s on the radio or on Spotify, you will listen to them, it’s inevitable.

THE DAYS – AVICII, #1 SINGLE OF THE MONTH

Avicii has had a successful year in 2013, and is determined to continue that this year. His most well-known single to date is “Wake Me Up” which currently is Spotify’s most streamed track ever, with 290 million streams! The Days is on a completely different level. The song boasts a happy, feel-good vibe that will get you stomping your feet and rocking your head. The tune is magnificent with ear-buds/headphones as all songs in the electronic genre should. It as of 10/8/2014 has been streamed on Spotify 2 million times.

DANGEROUS FEAT. SAM MARTIN – DAVID GUETTA, HONORABLE MENTION

As the world’s most prominent DJ, David Guetta has a certain level of expectation he has to uphold. I personally feel Dangerous feat. Sam Martin is among his greatest titles. It has a futuristic, almost heroic power beat complimenting Sam Martin’s outstanding voice, if The Days by Avicii hadn’t blown away my expectations, this would be the single of the month.
