Senior Sneak Peaks

Marissa Eggerichs and Kate Wehr

Senior Marissa Eggerichs is both anxious and excited for college next year. She will be attending St. John’s/St. Ben’s University located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Marissa plans on studying elementary education and psychology. She wishes to pursue a career as a teacher. Marissa decided on attending this college because her older brother is also a student, it is a private school-which she states she has always wanted to attend, and it has a beautiful campus. It is also a Catholic school, which Mimgres-1arissa likes because she is Catholic as well. She also told our sources that it is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Marissa is going to participate in the fall dance team which is for the football games, as well as track indoor during the
winter, and outside in the spring. She will be living in the dorms of the college and will be living with a random roommate. “I am excited to move on to the next chapter of my life and meet new people, however I’m going to miss seeing my best friends everyday.” Good luck to Marissa next year as she continues on to the next big thing. Go Bennies!imgres

Senior Sara Reid is very excited and ready to learn at college next year. She will be attending Winona State University. She is still deciding on which path to chose. Sara decided on Winona because they have a good nursing program and that was originally what she wanted to do, but now she is unsure. She is living in the dorms and her roommate lives in Wisconsin. They met online about three months ago and are hoping to meet sometime this summer. One of Sara’s good friends Stefi is attending Eau Claire and her roommate is best friends with Sara’s roommate. Sara told our sources that Winona has a pretty campus and a good location. “I’m excited and anxious to start over and become the person I’m supposed to be, but I will miss the people here in Blaine.” Good luck to Sara as she attends the college of her dreams this coming fall. Go Warriors!
