Both of the movies Brave (2012) and Frozen (2013) have had positive feedback and received many awards at award shows. Frozen is produced by Walt Disney Animation Studio and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Brave produce by Pixar Animation Studio and released by Walt Disney Pictures.

Animated movies has improved over the last centuries and has become a prominent thing in the culture today. From the first animated cartoons, the drawing styles and the effects certainly have changed. From just many drawings on paper to flipbooks. Nowadays, there are 3D animations, and CGI computer programs.

 The thing that is similar about both the Disney movies, Frozen and Brave is that they have a strong main female character. Different from most other movies today, the strong female character is courageous, stubborn, and she doesn’t need a male character to save her. The catchy soundtracks sweeping all the awards and topping charts. Most importantly, a family film made so that a family regardless of the age and watch and enjoy the movie. Combined with quirky and cute sidekicks to add humor, the movies teaches life lessons and morals to be strong, be brave, and follow your dreams in life.

The difference between Frozen and Brave is that Frozen is about a girl saving her sister from a sketchy marriage before she freezes to death. Brave on the other hand is about a stubborn and headstrong girl who wants to participate and do things but her mother wouldn’t allow it. A witch promises she can change her mother’s mind with a cookie and she gave it to her mother turning her into a black bear. Both have to save and help the people they love. Between the two of them, I think Frozen is the best

because of the hit song “Let It Go” is all the frenzy going on right now. Recorded in over 42 languages and dialects worldwide, each sounding beautiful and unique in their own way. The musical number has topped charts across the world. “The song is about letting go of your fears and moving forward with your power.” As the songwriter Kristen Anderson-Lopez said in her interview. Many critics have praised the song for its positive message as a tribute to girl power and letting go to fear and shame. Contributing the the success is the singer, Demi Lovato to cover the soundtrack. Demi Lovato was picked by the songwriters to cover the soundtrack because her past is very relatable to the song. The song has a range of high notes and the lyrics sends a positive message to the listener. It is one of the highest rated song right now and the highest rated cartoon.

Brave
