The set of You Can’t Take it With You

Since before school started, the thespian club has been readying themselves for presenting their first play: You Can’t Take it With You. Directed by Isaac Quick, it’s a comedy about a girl named Alice (Maggie Wehr) and a boy named Tony (Hunter Unis). They fall in love. But while Tony comes from a rich and successful family, Alice’s family is slightly crazy. They have a tendency to take in the occasional drunk or milkman and allow the stranger to stay with them for as long as they’d like.

Though I’d like to spill more of the plot, I’ve been told not to tell you about any more of the play’s storyline. Though, if you’re really interested, you can find it online with a few simple clicks of a mouse.

This production is not new to BHS though. The club have put it on twice before and is very eager to bring the old production back and make it even better than it was before.

If any of this seems interesting to you, the production will be held in the BHS Auditorium Novenber 10, 11, 17 or 18th at 7:00 PM. The tickets will be $3 for students and $5 for adults and you can order them ahead of time online at www.blainetheatre.com

See you there!
