Blaine Girls Hockey Defeats Champlin Park

At the start of the game the bengals win possession of the puck taking it down the ice setting up the play and ready to score. The girls are unsuccessful at their first attempt in trying to score. Champlin park now takes possession of the puck and heads down to the bengals side of the ice where the defensive players do a great job in blocking the shots from Champlin Park.
The bengals now have possession of the puck once again and they score within the first two minutes of the game. The goal was made by Megan Mckenzie with an assist by Courtney Moser. The score is now 1-0 within the first two minutes of the game. The Bengals proved to be the more dominant players on the ice hustling back and forth attempting to score again, and coming close to it. The time is now 12:13 in the game and Paige Beebe scores again for the Bengals, she was assisted by her fellow teammates Gabby Rosenthal and Sam Auman. The score is now 2-0 with the Bengals still in the lead at the beginning of the first period.
So far the Bengals have had a pretty good season with many wins under their belts. The girls are having yet another amazing season with hopes of making it to state. With how their season is going so far going to state is definitely a possibility.
With Champlin Park now having possession of the puck and taking it down to Bengal territory, goalie Morgan Cin defends the goal very outstandingly as many hard shots were taken at her in an attempt from Champlin Park to score. Blaine player Sam Auman is now in possession of the puck taking it down to the Champlin Park side where she skates around the defensemen and takes a shot that is blocked. The Bengals have taken many shots but they are all blocked by the Champlin Park goalie. With time running down will the Bengals manage to score again by the end of the first period? With a minute and seven seconds on the clock Coach Mckenzie yells at the girls to “hold the puck” and let the time run out. Blaine having possession of the puck manage to take it down the ice and score with .46 seconds left on the clock. It was an amazing goal by Ramsey Parent, assisted by Paige Beebe and Rachel Lentner. The score is now 4-0 with the Bengals still in the lead. This game is definitely a good one for the Blaine Bengals as they head off the ice proud of their 4-0 lead on Champlin Park.
At the start of the second period the Bengals come out strong obtaining yet another goal within the first two minutes of the second period. The goal was made by Courtney Moser, and she was assisted by Sarah Ganley and Megan Mckenzie. The score is now 5-0 and the Bengals are still going strong. Champlin park is now in possession of the puck and attempts to score, but is blocked by Blaine goalie Morgan Cin. Into the second period the score is now 6-0 with yet another goal by Courtney Moser, assisted by Paige Beebe and Gabby Rosenthal. The Bengals are vastly ahead of Champlin Park.
The Bengals take the puck down once again and they score. Courtney Moser scores again for the Bengals, assisted by by Gina Rosvold. The score is now 7-0, and Courtney Moser with the amazing hat trick. The score is still 7-0 with 7:12 remaining in the second period. The time has run down to 6:30 and Paige Beebe scores, with the assist from Emily Brown and Gabby Rosenthal. The Score is now 8-0.
Morgan Cin let’s in her first goal of the night making the score 8-1. Towards the end of the second period the Bengals score twice. One goal from Kirstie Ziegler assisted by Ramsey Parent, and the other goal by Abby Jones. Making the score now 10-1.
The Bengals end up conquering Champlin Park with the final score being 12-1, putting yet another win underneath their belt. The girls played great, and their skill and talent as a team prevailed during this game on the ice.
