Could Mockingjay Be Rated R? BHS Movie News

Ever Since The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) hit the theaters, many fans and critics have expressed their delights on the spectacular improvement from the first movie, The Hunger Games (2012). But let’s face it, the second Hunger Games novel was the easiest to adapt. Most of the movies foundation was built up by the first, and the second had a huge difference, a larger budget. Yet Mockingjay is proving to be a nuisance to Lionsgate, not only because in the third book has a multitude of war violence, but has people being blown to bits, decapitated and horrible torture scenes. How is the movie going to stay PG-13 with so much rated R action. Well they did it with the first, so perhaps they will do the same for the third. And since the third book is being split into two movies like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Twilight Breaking Dawn, Lionsgate would be crippled with the loss of the movie’s top fans and money gross. Lets hope the third turns out as good as the second and Lionsgate does not mess up with such a magnificent series of books.
