There’s a new staff member this year at BHS, his name is Tony BoosBoos is a Para educator here at Blaine High School.

“Blaine has a friendly atmosphere and the staff and students are very nice.” “I like being a Para educator because I can interact with the students.” said Boos.

Boos went to Coon Rapids High School and also attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College to become a Para educator.  Next fall Boos wants to go back to school and plans to get his teaching license, he is unsure about the subject he would like to teach.

Boos is also a former Marine and served for four years, in California.  He was deployed to Okinawa, Singapore and South Korea and Iraq.  Boos was a LAV (Light Armored Vehicle) crewman.  Boos was also a driver and a gunner and worked in the armory, managing all of the weapons and ammunition.  Boos also has had mountain warfare training.

“Being in the Marines is an intense serious job but it can also be fun at times.  There is a lot of… friendship.” Boos said.

Blaine High School is lucky to have you, Tony Boos!

Boos is a great addition to the Bengal community and was a proud member of the Armed Forces.
