Card Game Club

Card Game Club is host to mainly two different card games, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering. In Yu-Gi-Oh! there are a few ways of automatically winning the game, but the more common way, is to decrease the opponents life points to zero. These two games are currently the most popular card games in the world with Magic: The Gathering as the worlds biggest card game and Yu-Gi-Oh! being the world’s most profitable (There are more rewards for winning in pro leagues).

Card Game Club has their meetings each week in room 156 every wednesday from about 2:30-3:30.
This small group meets weekly in order to set up tournaments (granted these tournaments only offer bragging rights as a prize) and to play with their friends and each other for fun.
In Card Game Club, the main organizers (Andrew Aaberg and Matthew Anderson) serve mainly to help maintain order, and host votes for what the group would like to do. They both encourage you to approach them with any questions, suggestions, or for more information.

Card Game Club is a fairly small group but filled with interesting characters that help one another improve each other’s skills and decks.
On a normal day the Yu-Gi-Oh! players free play or play against whoever they want. And the Magic: The Gathering players have large matches. Both organizers are willing to help members of the group improve upon their decklists (cards that are in a deck) and are currently trying to find people to introduce new and interesting other card games into the club so more people can come to a place where they can enjoy just about any card game they are interested in.
So if you are interested in either a card game like Yu-Gi-Oh! or  Magic: The Gathering or want to start up a circle of players for another card game, meet up with the members of Card Game Club next Wednesday! Hope to see you there!
