Mondays are a special day in the cafeteria of Blaine High School.  The reason: the BBQ Beef Rib sandwich.  The BBQ Beef Rib sandwich is served every Monday in the cafeteria in the Express Lane.

The lunch staff receives the beef and the buns from their food service over the weekend.  Each case of beef consists of 299 beef patties. After they are pulled out of the oven they are put into buns and wrapped up, then they are ready to be served.

According to the lunch staff, they are quite popular.  The sandwich has been known to sell out.  If it does not, the uneaten sandwiches are given to a service that will put them to good use.
