The Script Albums

Since they published their debut album in 2008 called ‘The Script’. The most popular ones from their first album were ‘The Men who can’t be moved’ and ‘Breakeven’. Both are very soulful and touching songs that stick to your mind.

In 2010 they released their second album, called ‘Science & Faith’. But the reactions were nothing compared to the success of ‘The Script’.

Now it looks like they are back: The new album with the simple title ‘#3’ was published in October 2012. The single ‘Hall of Fame’ for which they worked together with Will.i.am ranks in the Top Ten of Germany, Austria, Great Britain and Ireland. In the US it’s currently in place #36.

The playlist of ‘#3’ is only ten songs long, but therefore each of the songs is very unique and has a high recognition value. The one that sticks out is – of course – ‘Hall of Fame’. But there’s more than that. While the first song (‘Good Ol’ Days’) is kind of okay and not really special, the second song (‘Six Degrees of Separation’) really makes you listen and think about what you hear.

One of my favorite songs is number 6, which is called ‘Give the Love around’. It’s a song that makes you relax and chill. Also to mention is number 10, the last song: ‘Millionaires’. I’ve seldom heard a song that makes me feel such an intense desire, without knowing for what.

Taken as a whole ‘#3’ is really worth its money. It’s a good background music, but it’s also nice to listen to the thoughtful lyrics. I really recommend this album, especially if you liked one of their previous singles or albums.
