Skyfall

Skyfall

Skyfall easily ranks up there with the other great James Bond movies. From a villian that rivals Goldfinger and a song that could compare with “Live and Let Die”, to a Mr. Bond that can go next to the talents of the origianal.

In Skyfall James Bond, played by Daniel Craig who is featuring in his third 007 movie, must go and find a device that holds all of MI6’s operatives within terrorist organizations. Yet the evil mastermind has a few tricks up his sleeve, luring Bond and others right into his trap.

In this movie there is some new mixed with the old. From the explosions and chase scenes, to the gadgets and the women. of course there is a few things that classic Bond fans will disapprove of, but that won’t stop people from seeing it. There is even a secret that only people who have seen the other Bond’s will get.

Craig’s performance is what you would expect from the gentleman spy. With his cheesy dramatic one-liners and his style of fighting, he continues the Brit’s image. He is the only Bond that can actually be compared with Sean Connery, the original 007, with a decent agrument. He doesn’t dissapoint, keeping you on the edge of your seat.

All-in-all a great movie. It definatley lived up to it’s 50th anniversary hype. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes action, romance, and mystery combined. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
