“When life gives me lemons, I tend to look for someone with limes and make a tasty drink”

Today in the land where Green Triangle lives, our protagonist has just completed a cross-word puzzle in front of his Triangular Television set, when he hears a knock at his door. The Famous Celebrity Purple Rectangle appears, in his latest outfit, he exclaims, “Green Triangle! How wonderful to see you here! It’s been such a long time, how have you been?”

The puzzled Green Triangle, at a loss of words, could only come up with the question: “Who are you again? I have lost track of all the color-shape people that I have forgotten who you are. But more importantly, how do you know me, and how do you know where I live?”

Purple Rectangle appeared to understand Green Triangle’s dilemma, and began to explain: “There’s no time to explain! I am in need of your help, and its a long story, get on my pet alligator, his name is Crock, hurry!”

After a half-day’s trek, they appear to reach their destination, a lonely hill, on top was an old oak tree. In the tree, there appeared to be a weathered kite. Purple Rectangle appeared to be in disbelief. “I don’t believe this, that kite used to be my childhood toy! Why is it up in the tree?”

“That kite has been up there since I was a boy”, said a mysterious voice. The Color Shapes turned around to find them looking at Tan Box, “I’m surprised anyone remembers about it. Its good to see you again Purple Rectangle, ever since you decided to take that vortex to look for help for that there kite, time went on without you, I tried to hold onto the rope you gave me, but you forgot to tie it to yourself before you jumped in.”

“Tan Box? Tan Box is that really you? Oh my, what has happened? Where is everyone else? Where’s Aero Circle? Wheres Alloy Triangle?”

Tan Box shook his head at the sound of his old friends, “They moved on Purple Rectangle, they moved on, had kids, and lived their lives.”

Green Triangle tried to console the grief stricken celebrity, but got distracted by the glare of the nearby ladder, that looked just as rusted, and dull and weather beaten as the kite did. Green Triangle bravely took three steps up the ladder, and fond himself right at the perfect height to grab the remains of the kite. Green Triangle moved ever so closely to grabbing the kite, after having a firm grip on it, with all the force in the world, Green Triangle ripped it down. Just then, A storm brewed ever so quick, and a flash of lightning crashed into the hill.

With out a word Tan Box was restored into his youthful self, and Tan Box and Purple Rectangle, faded away, possibly back to the past. Possibly.
